Rifle & Pistol Range Location
The Lake County Rifle & Pistol Range is located on East side of Madison, just North of Hwy 34. Turn North at Stemper's or South at the Airport Road
The Ranges are available for public use. However, a Izaak Walton Range Officer must be present. Accessing the range without an Izaak Walton Range Officer present is trespassing.
The range is also used by public law enforcement and for various firearms safety courses throughout the year.
The Lake County Rifle & Pistol Range is generally open 10-2 on Saturdays from April - November as long as the weather cooperates and we have Izaak Walton members who are willing to volunteer to serve as range safety officers. Range Safety Officers may also be available at other times during the week. Please check our Board Member & RSO for a list of Range Safety Officers.

THE RANGE IS FREE TO THE PUBLIC!
We don't have range fees, but there is a free will donation box to help with range maintenance and upkeep.
Please consider donating when you can, every little bit helps us to maintain and make updates.
Rifle Range
The Rifle Range (located on the West side of complex) offers both a covered 100 yard range for high power, muzzle loader and .22 cal Rifles as well as barrels set up at 25 & 50 yards for for handguns and shotguns.
Pistol Range
Pistols can be shot at the North side of the Rifle Range at 25 & 50 yards or on the East side of the complex at 25 yards.
